1. Introduction

Opps ("Opps," "we," "our," or "us") is a free-to-play, social sports-prediction game operated by Internet Friends Group, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Opps mobile app and website at opps.world.

Opps is a free-to-play game. There is no real-money wagering. Opps may award cash or other prizes in a Free Prize Contest governed by its Official Rules. See section 6 for details.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account & authentication information: When you create an account, we collect your username and the identifier tied to your sign-in method. Opps supports Sign in with Apple and passwordless email sign-in links, so depending on your method this may include your email address. We also store an optional profile picture, and we record when you agree to our Terms of Service and, in the app, the Official Rules, and when you acknowledge this Privacy Policy, along with the version of each.
• Your game activity: The picks you make, your results, record, and streaks, the leagues and sports you follow, and anything you post in the app.
• Friends and social graph: Friend connections, friend requests you send and receive, and pending invites you create for people not yet on Opps.
• Contacts (optional, for finding friends):If you grant permission, the app uses your contacts' phone numbers to find friends already on Opps. We do not upload or store your contact list, names, or photos. When you invite someone, we save the invite, linked to their phone number, so we can connect you when they join Opps.
• Usage and device data: Analytics about how you use the app, such as features used, screens viewed, and interactions, along with device and diagnostic information used for performance and crash reporting.
• Push notification tokens: If you enable notifications, we store a push token so we can notify you about friend activity, friend requests, and game updates.
• Location (optional, for prizes):If you allow location access, the app checks your device's location to confirm you are in a state where prizes are available. It does this when you view prize information, verify your prize eligibility, claim a prize, or withdraw Winnings. If you have allowed location access, it also checks once a day, when you open the app or, if needed, before your first pick of the day. We store the latitude, longitude, and state from your most recent check, the state recorded when you enter each day's prize contest, and the location used for each prize claim and withdrawal. Location is not used for anything else, and you can play without it.
• Date of birth: When you create an account, we ask for your date of birth once. We use it to confirm you are old enough to use Opps and to determine prize eligibility, and we never show it to other players.
• Prize and payout information: If you win a prize or withdraw Winnings, we collect what is needed to determine eligibility and pay you: your legal name, the payment app and account handle you choose for payouts, and your confirmation that you meet the minimum age and are a US resident. We keep records of the prizes credited to you and the withdrawals you request, and a record of each prize eligibility decision, including the location involved when a check is flagged.
• Purchase information: If you subscribe to Opps Pro, Apple processes your payment. We receive subscription status and confirmation but do not collect or store your payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To run the game: score your picks and keep your record, streaks, and leaderboard standing
• To run social features, such as friends and showing your activity to other players
• To help you find friends already on Opps and to deliver invites you choose to send
• To run the Free Prize Contest: confirm prize eligibility, including your age and the state you are in, credit prizes, process withdrawals, and meet tax and other legal obligations
• To manage your account and, if you subscribe, your subscription
• To send push notifications about activity and game updates (with your permission)
• To analyze usage, improve performance, and provide customer support
• To protect Opps, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of third-party providers to operate Opps. Categories include:

• Cloud infrastructure: account sign-in, data storage, server processing, file storage, push notification delivery, and analytics and crash reporting
• App store: sign-in with your Apple account, if you choose it, and in-app purchase and subscription billing for Opps Pro
• Payment apps: when you withdraw Winnings, we send the payout to the account handle you provide on the payment app you choose, which processes it under its own terms.
• Sports-data providers: third-party sports statistics and results services used to build the slate and settle outcomes. We send game and player identifiers to these services, not your personal account information.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. How Your Activity Is Shared

Opps is social by design. Your username, profile picture, record, and picks can be visible to other players, including whether you agreed or disagreed with them. Some activity details are shown only to Opps Pro subscribers.

6. Prize Contests

Opps is a free-to-play social prediction game for entertainment. It does not accept, place, or facilitate real-money wagers. Opps may award cash or other prizes in a Free Prize Contest, which is free to enter and governed by its Official Rules.

7. Subscription Information

Opps Pro is billed at $4.99 per week and includes a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions auto-renew weekly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

All payments are processed by Apple under their billing terms. We receive subscription status and confirmation receipts from Apple but do not collect or store payment card data. Refunds are handled by Apple under their refund policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data, picks, record, and social connections for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems, though we may retain limited information where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, and anonymized or aggregated data that does not identify you may be retained. Records of prizes and withdrawals, including the information used to pay you, may be kept after you delete your account where required for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), on-device hashing of contact phone numbers, secure authentication, and access controls on our servers.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Access and update your profile information in the app
• Delete your accountdirectly in the app at any time (Settings → Delete account), which removes your personal data as described in section 8
• Opt out of push notifications
• Revoke contacts permission at any time through your device settings
• Revoke location permission at any time through your device settings. Without it, you can keep playing, but you cannot confirm prize eligibility or withdraw Winnings
• Contact us to exercise any data rights available to you under applicable law

11. Children's Privacy

Opps is rated 13+ and is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Opps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If the date of birth entered when creating an account shows the user is under 13, we delete the account and do not keep the date of birth. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
